Slow Spring Haiku's

Spring sun kisses me

a long awaited union

each second savored

Rain expands the seeds

the ancient codes emerging

whispering their tale

Steam above my cup

a cold misting afternoon

taciturn of spring

The sun breaking free

from behind her plumy clouds

warming my muscles

Soil is the canvas

sleeping vibrant blooms, the paint

the artist she waits
